While the platform was demonstrated on consumer goods packaging, the underlying technologies -- predictive material modeling, automated structural testing, and supply chain digitalization -- are directly relevant to the coffee and tea filter material industry where we operate.

Today, it is a spectrum that includes PP/PET blends (recyclable, food-safe, proven performance), PLA (compostable under industrial conditions), and emerging bio-based materials that are still in development.

Beyond material science, packaging is becoming a data carrier. RFID tags, QR codes, and batch-level traceability systems are moving from premium niche applications toward mainstream B2B expectations. For food contact materials, traceability is increasingly linked to regulatory compliance -- particularly under the EU PPWR (Regulation (EU) 2025/40), which requires Declaration of Compliance documents and material documentation for all packaging placed on the EU market from August 12, 2026.
